When the bass dropped and the song skidded to a halt, Vic looking downwards breathing deeply and the audience’s applause was deafening.
Perspiration beginning to drip from the singer’s forehead, he danced around the stage enthusiastically, earning roars of encouragement from the crowd. Kellin was in a state of violent ecstasy, his eyes never wandering from Vic, who was shifting his view around the audience. Fangirls screamed even louder, thrashing at the barriers, some of the older ones holding plastic cups of beer and holding them up to the performers. The music stopped, which was met with enthusiastic cheers, the stage lights lit up and the band walked on stage. Kellin ran like a small child to the front, right up to the barrier, with his friend dragging behind. Kellin was no different to these people, his eyes darted around, looking for Vic, the guy he kept posters on his wall of and the guy that made Kellin realise he was gay. The atmosphere inside the dimly lit room was ecstatic, as people filed in they screamed the names of the band members, dancing to the music that was being played pre-show. The next few moments were chaos, as a security guard came out and ushered the line to start entering, Kellin actually squeaked and grabbed his friend sharply by the hand, tugging him to be one of the first in. “Just wait, it’ll be worth it.” Kellin assured. His friend stood impatiently beside him, looking out of place in a sea of Emo’s in his preppy outfit and messy hair, it was obvious he was brought here out of his will. He blended right in, with his ripped skinny jeans, Pierce the Veil merch and classical emo hairstyle.

Meanwhile, Kellin Quinn stood in the violent line, full of alternative teenagers pushing to get to the front, wanting to catch a glimpse of their favorite band. He could hear the screams of fans from his dressing room and this only added to the anxiety of it all, but he did his best to hide them behind a false smirk as his manager entered the room “Almost time, prepare yourself.” The venue was packed and Vic felt a pang of nerves, his palms sweating as he drank from the complimentary water bottle the venue had given him.
